Oklahoma and Arkansas sent a combined 166 wrestlers to the 16U divisions at last year's U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, and the 2026 contingent is shaping up to be even stronger. Oklahoma produced multiple finalists, including Emily Beckley (runner-up, Girls FS 135 lbs), Clover Williams (runner-up, Girls FS 140 lbs), and Rhodes Molenda (runner-up, Boys GR 285 lbs). Arkansas sent Zachary Donalson to a runner-up finish in Boys Greco-Roman at 113. With state freestyle and Greco championships behind them and Fargo two months out, here is who the data says to watch from both states.

Oklahoma's girls program is producing nationally elite talent at a rate that outpaces most states. Ki'Morah Cathey of Hurricane Wrestling Academy carries a 2540 overall rating on a 75-2 record — the highest-rated wrestler from either state, boys or girls. Her freestyle rating (2185) and Greco rating (2033) confirm she is not just dominant in folkstyle but competitive across all three styles. Ignacio Villasenor of Stillwater (2501, 90-11) is right behind her, and the depth continues with Millie Azlin of Bixby (2467, 62-4), Emily Beckley of Broken Arrow (2457, 159-9), Audrey Rogotzke of Stillwater (2405, 82-6), and Claire Lancaster of Norman (2364, 137-19). Beckley's 159 wins are the most of any wrestler on this list, boys or girls, and her Fargo runner-up finish in 2025 gives her a pedigree that most returners lack.

On the Oklahoma boys side, Israel Borge of Bixby leads with a 2473 overall rating and an 82-8 record. Jake Miller of Broken Arrow Wrestling Club (2444, 59-8) stands out for his cross-style versatility: a 2279 freestyle rating and a 2028 Greco rating make him one of the few Oklahoma wrestlers rated above 2000 in both international styles. Graham Sandoval of Blackwell (2442, 132-14) has been one of the busiest wrestlers in the state and carries a 2014 Greco rating alongside his folkstyle dominance. Jaegar Romannose of Mustang (2392, 102-9) has a 2040 Greco rating that suggests he could surprise in Fargo's Greco brackets. On the girls side, Regina Stoeser of Harrisburg (2403, 52-8) is an elite talent with a 2064 freestyle rating, and Ashley Thompson of Rogers (2287, 57-11) adds depth. Harrisburg is emerging as an Arkansas wrestling factory: Stoeser, Landon Hill (2268, 81-16), and several other Harrisburg wrestlers all competed at Fargo in 2025.

The numbers tell an interesting story about these two states' wrestling identities. Oklahoma's strength is sheer depth — dozens of wrestlers rated above 2200, a girls program that is nationally elite, and a growing freestyle and Greco infrastructure that produced over 2,200 state championship matches this spring. Arkansas has fewer total wrestlers but is developing a core of high-ceiling athletes, particularly in northwest Arkansas (Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale) and the Harrisburg pipeline in the east. Both states saw significant freestyle and Greco growth this year, and both will send larger and better-prepared delegations to Fargo than they did in 2025.
